Improving my shop
This week we learnt about the curve tool to create the metal part that is on top of the sign. This tool is great to create the effect of the curved metal to create a Victorian street sign. This isn't the final piece as I have yet to finish it but it was fun to make the base.

Example of the style I'm going for^

I first started off with creating the shape that I wanted

Then using vertex I edited it to make my shape more the way I wanted it
Then I used 'Sweep Mesh' to make the curve 3D

I also realised this week that my building was too blocky and straight and needed more depth and structure to make it more realistic and make it look like of a building.
So I thought it would be nice for my café to have a balcony for the customers to sit outside to drink their special drinks.
I thought it would be nice to have a fence around it and then have plants hanging from it to look aesthetic and inviting so that customers can enjoy themselves and feel relaxed. Plus plants and nature creates character and life that my building needs.
So this week I worked on the fences as well.

My fence is inspired by this Victorian house fence.

I started off creating the post and panels and then extruding them. This was just a lot of adjusting and moving to get the right shape for them both

After that I duplicated the panels by just cloning them over and over again.

After tiding it up this is the overall look
I am going to fill up the gap above with another window that is in the wall and not a pop out window like the other 2 , but I will do that next week
